Buy Local  Campaign

The Buy Local Campaign increases the markets for local food by promoting awareness about the environmental, economic and social benefits of eating locally, and by making stronger connections between consumers and local growers and processors.

Activities of the Buy Local Campaign

• Publishing the Locally Grown Directory that informs consumers about where they can purchase local food

• Developing point-of-purchase materials with information about buying local to display at participating retail outlets

• Sponsoring events that link growers, processors, consumers and restaurateurs
