Extended Description
Deck Family Farm is a pasture based farm dedicated to sustainable farming practices. We use no synthetic nitrogen fertilizer, no herbicides, pesticides, subtherapeutic antibiotics, or hormones. We use intensive grazing to enhance fertility and minimize the use of chemical de-wormers. We never confine or feedlot finish our beef with grain. We use a USDA processor for retail cuts and a state certified processor for sides. In 2010 our Heritage Breeding program will offer Heritage Galloway Grass Fed Beef, Heritage No Soy! La Belle Rouge Roasters, and Heirloom Turkeys for Thanksgiving. In the fall we will begin selling our milk fed, nut finished Heritage Red Wattle Pork. The farm welcomes visitors any day but Sunday.
